Outside Broadcast

Gearhouse Broadcast is a leading HD and SD outside broadcast facilities provider in Australia working on major sports events, music concerts, news and current affairs, entertainment shows, studio productions and reality TV shows. Our key clients include most of Australia leading producers and production houses, Pay TV networks and the majority of the free-to-air broadcasters. We offer technology from many of the world’s leading manufacturers. Our trucks and OB equipment are regularly upgraded to allow the company to remain at the fore front of outside broadcasting.

We primarily service the live sports market and provide facilities most notably for the Australian Rules Football (AFL) for the Seven Network, Super 15s Rugby, A-League Football, Australian International Rugby and Football for Fox Sports.

Our ever-growing fleet of HD and SD trucks were designed by Gearhouse Broadcast’s team of Senior Broadcast Engineers, in collaboration with specialised industry manufacturers including Sony, EVS, Canon, Lawo, Riedel, Snell and Harris.

Project Solutions

Gearhouse Broadcast’s Project Solutions division offers total broadcast facilities for major televised events, combining consultancy and operational knowledge to produce cost effective broadcast solutions for high profile sporting events, reality programming and live or near live broadcast, locally or on location anywhere in the world.

Project Solutions design, planning, installation and operations work has covered International Broadcast Centres, Technical Operations Centres, Production Control Rooms, Edit Suites, ENG facilities, Studios and uni-lateral and multi-lateral Cable Installations.

Systems Integration

Gearhouse Broadcast is an internationally recognised broadcast Systems Integrator with a wealth of experience that covers every aspect of systems implementation from consultancy through to planning, engineering, project management, design, installation, commissioning, training, maintenance and aftercare support.
